Quilting By Design Schedule of Events

Scheduled Vacation Days Off

One of the major objectives of Quilting By Design (QBD) is to provide up-to-date information to quilters:

  • All over the world,
  • Of all skill levels,
  • That focus on different types of techniques (not all of us quilt the same!),
  • And to quilters without regard to age.
  •
QBD strives to keep readers informed in a manner that is pleasant to read, easy to understand, and organized in such a manner that assists in making site navigation quick and simple.

The current layout plan for each week, with regard to scheduling is:

  • Monday - Reviews. This includes reviews of gadgets, tools, Web sites, books, magazines, etc. If you have a review that you would like to see, please contact me with details.
  • Tuesday - Articles. This includes articles written about quilting, in general. The intent of these articles is to simply share information, however, occasionally, these articles shall be “how-to” articles, providing easy-to-understand tutorials on various quilting subjects. If you have an article that you would like to see, please contact me with details. In the event that there is not an article, this slot fills with QuilTalk.
  • Wednesday - Interviews. Interviews with designers, quilters, writers, artists, inventors, or a combination of all! Whenever possible, a live chat will also be scheduled to coincide closely with the published interview, usually within 24-48 hours before publication of the interview. If you have an interview that you would like to see, please contact me with details. In the event that there is not an interview, this slot fills with QuilTalk.
  • Thursday - Thursday’s are designated as “Terry’s Thoughtful Thursdays”. This is a day set aside for me to gather my thoughts and provide you with random bits of information and/or updates.
  • Friday - Projects. Quilt-related projects will be highlighted on Fridays. Most often, these will include projects found on the Internet, but occasionally, the project will be one of my own designs. If it is a project by someone other than myself, it is wise to view it and print it (adhering to site copyright, of course) as quickly as possible, because many times, the projects are up for such a short period of time. If you have a project that you would like to see, please contact me with details.

Hopefully, this gives you insight as to expectations of this Web site. I welcome suggestions and comments!
         Happy quilting!
